Ok, its official what with the current heatwave and 30 degree temperatures around the south east, those Carp have begun spawning...

Three year anniversary Approaches - 1st August
If anyone tells me im not committed to Carp fishing you’ve only got to re-read the above title to understand I AM!
This weekend will mark three years worth of blanking on my local club water. If that isnt depressing enough im now on 10 nights in 2011 with nothing but a Bream to show for it.
Why do i keep going you may ask...because i know there some truly stunning fish in there, and that coupled with low angling pressure, stunning surroundings and excellent security mean its worth 'camping out'.
Where do we go from here...well at the moment im just going to keep pushing on because sooner or later things will have to improve..wont they?
Im confident in my bait, and the rigs so its just a matter of locating the fish. One major obstacle is that with less anglers on the water knowledge (in terms of catch rates) is scarce.
Ive never been one for fishing over people’s hard work, but a small amount of knowledge on catch rates wouldnt go amiss.
