Indian Summer - Written by Geoff Rauf

We are now firmly into what id call my favourite time of year, autumn. Personally its the best time to catch a fish and the best time to be on the bank. Its when Carp feed heavily prior to the winter, and in my experience they look totally stunning in the cooler months having gotten threw the months of spawning. Of course on my lake with such a little amount of angling pressure the fish are always in prestine condition.

After a fantastic break away from things relaxing in the sun off the Aegan coast the batteries are recharged and im ready to face the music…music of a baitrunner screaming off and bite alarm making its typical beeeep. I cannot believe we are into late September yet the forecast this week is in the high twenties down saff. It throws the rule book of where to fish outta the window and make my job a tad harder (as if it needs to be any harder)!

Anyway enough rambling for now. More to follow shortly.

Holiday fishing is a must!
