I have been baking so far this weekend. I found a lovely swim which offers both shallow and deep areas but as I’ve found out this morning its in direct line with the sun for most of the day. I am a fan of sunshine but this is nothing short of barmy. I’m sitting here in shorts and flip flops (camo) with a cold beer watching the world go by, its crazy for October.
So far on the action front ive had my first run of the year which was a little before midday. The left hand rod positioned at around 20 yrds in deep water (23ft) shot off but unfortunately the hook pulled after a spirited few minute fight. Im not too upset by this because its the first bit of action ive had this year.
