With its charming self catering wooden lakeside holiday chalet & spacious three bedroom house the family fishing lodge, (La grange). Both holiday properties are situated next to a very heavily stocked private 1 acre coarse / carp fishing lake in the rural Landes department of the South West of France. There are lots of very big carp to over 50 lb plus large bream, big tench, almost record perch and roach etc. All this on the outskirts of a very quiet and peaceful Landais village 10 minutes south of the old roman spa town of Dax.
This must be one of the best places for fun family holidays in France even if you don't go fishing for free in the beautiful carp fishing lake. You can go for a walk or ride a bicycle around the deserted french country lanes or just relax on your holiday by the 5 meter diameter round swimming pool while the food cooks on the bbq.
The holiday accommodation (lake-side chalet & fishing lodge) are only 10 minutes from Dax by car (a beautiful market town renowned for its hot water springs and healing mud) & the famous lac du christus (one of the most beautiful fishing lakes in France) with its monster carp, pike, zander and black bass. Only 35 minutes from some of the best beaches in France including Biarritz, with its international airport, beautiful coastline and wonderful surfing.
